You can face life with the kind of love and support God has in mind for you. Now is the perfect time to find a Life Group that fits your schedule and season of life.

Life Groups are the way we make a big church feel small. Groups meet in homes, restaurants, gyms, even fishing streams, all across the area and simply do life together. We’re laughing and growing in all seasons of life. Life is not meant to be lived alone! We encourage you to join a life group so that you get to experience life with others while building new friendships and strengthening each other in your walk with Christ.

Life Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life Groups exist – to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

“Finally 22”

Hi, my name is Dorothy Voerman and I am married to Eric Voerman. I am doing a Life Group called “Finally 22.” We are going to gear up, having a time for the mature ladies to have fun fellowship.

We will meet once a month on a Thursday evening from 6:00-8:30. We will have games, outings, Bible studies or share a meal together, etc. Through these activities we will get to know each other better and build each other up in the body of Christ.

Fun, food, and fellowship!

This group, led by Terry & Patsy Miller, will have light food, fellowship, and 15 minutes of Bible study on Psalm 23.

We are all about getting to know one another in a relaxed atmosphere.

Newcomers and oldcomers are welcome! Let’s mix it up!

We will be meeting at Terry and Patsy’s house, 129 County Road 1021, 5 minutes from FCFC, just south of the Hillspeak red barn. We will be meeting the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month, starting June 23, from 6:00 – 7:30.

“The Encouraged Life”

Yolanda Weinmann, leader of this Life Group, feels that encouragement and thankfulness are of vital importance. “I believe we can help each other with tools to enable us to live more encouraged and grateful lives.”

This women’s group will meet at Yolanda’s home, 3346 Hwy 143, in Grandview. The location is 3-1/2 miles from Hwy 62, near the Outpost gas station. Meeting times are every other Tuesday, from 6:30 – 8:00pm, starting June 15.

For more information, please call Yolanda: 870-654-2632.

“Fear Free Living”

Have you ever thought that it might be possible to live without anxiety, time-pressure, nagging concerns, panic, or even unidentified dread? Do you know that God never intended His people to be weighed down with those things?

This Life Group will meet each Thursday to discover how that is possible! We will find, in God’s Word, help for each of us to become filled with FAITH instead of fear!

Come be a part of this group led by Carolyn Biossat, former ES school teacher—now author of FEAR-FREE Living: Finding Peace Through Faith, the book we will use for this study. Carolyn became a “fear-overcomer”, who wrote this book after discovering victory the Lord’s way! If you are ready to dig deeper, make some real changes, while enjoying and even helping other women, this group was formed for YOU!

First meeting: Thursday, June 10th
Time: 6:00-7:30
Place: Switch Coffee Bar
For: Women

“Elder Care”

Bobbi and Scott Kervin are leaders of what they laughingly call the “Elder Care” Life Group. This group of 60+ers is about offering the elders of the church an opportunity to serve others by prayer more than offering care to elders! The plan does include having a good time, too!

The group will meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Coffee and dessert will be mixed with video teaching on prayer/revival, discussion and actual prayer for the church.

This will be a great way to better know others in the church family and affect our community. Married or single please come and bring your “supply” so that together we may unite to build and strengthen the church.

Kervin Address for 1st set of meetings:
2 Mission Hills Lane, Holiday Island
Bobbi’s cell phone: 479-287-0491
Home phone: 479-253-2534
Dessert volunteers please contact Bobbi

“Movers & Seekers”

This Life Group will be led by Michelle Johnson.

This will be an active group going on hikes, going bowling, etc. Get out and enjoy God’s creation!

We will have a scripture of the day to pray about and discuss.

We will be meeting Sunday after church unless the drive to hike or activity will be a longer drive.

“Service with a Purpose”

We are a collection of people getting together for fellowship and light service work to help those in need.

Some duties we will be performing are oil changes, yard clean-up, etc.

This group is led by Eric Voerman and is open to both men and women.
